Parent & Family weekend is a fun-filled, family event designed to provide key connections and experiences for Belmont families. From athletic events to concerts, student life presentations and exploring the great city of Nashville, Parent & Family Weekend provides the perfect weekend for family members to experience life at Belmont. Come visit your student, connect with other families and get a glimpse into life at Belmont! Kick off the 2025 Parent and Family Weekend with the String Chamber Orchestra! Enjoy a wide variety of music with surprise faculty soloists! Homecoming is Belmont's annual alumni and student event where we celebrate the wonderful community of Belmont. Welcome Week takes place from August 16-19, 2025. All Welcome Week events are mandatory for all new students: transfers and first-year students. Parents and Guests are encouraged to attend the Saturday night and Sunday morning Welcome Week events. At Welcome Week check-in, all new students and guests will receive a Welcome Week schedule. All r This year’s event set a record for attendance at the annual event Belmont University hosted Parent and Family Weekend September 21 – 23 and welcomed more than 2,300 attendees to campus for a calendar full of activities. Take part in Volunteer opportunities to support the Belmont community. From mentorship to hosting welcome parties to sharing advice with incoming parents, we want parents to engage with the community in their own way. Welcome Week at Belmont! Welcome Week is an unforgettable experience full of Belmont traditions, community connections, and must-see moments. Welcome Week kicks off the week before classes and is designed to prepare new students for all facets of life at Belmont. For Welcome Week, students will be placed in a Towering Traditions group (TT Group) with 10-20 other new students. TT groups will be More than 1,500 guests flooded Belmont’s campus for the annual Parent and Family Weekend September 23 – 25 and found a plethora of opportunities to experience life at Belmont. The Offices of Study Abroad, Career & Professional Development, Counseling Services and Student Success & Flourishing offered key information sessions throughout the weekend. These topical sessions provided parents Belmont Abbey College established the Parents Leadership Council (PLC) to serve, engage, and understand our parent community. We strive to enhance the experience of our parent community through individual and collective outreach, engagement of parents as potential co-op employers, and as philanthropic partners. Parent Leadership Council is an active, diverse volunteer group who steers Family Weekend September 19 - 21, 2025 Join us for a weekend of connection with fellow Commodores! During Family Weekend you will immerse yourself in campus life alongside your student, meet other families, cheer on the Dores, and more. It’s a weekend you do not want to miss!
