Despite its small size, Hamilton has a surprising array of activities to enjoy during this special weekend. Sunday is a day that families use for casual visiting amongst themselves. There is no charge to attend Family Weekend, but we do ask families to register, which typically opens early in the fall semester. Some specific events do have a charge. The Colgate Family Weekend is an eagerly anticipated event that brings together students, parents, and relatives to celebrate the academic achievements and personal growth of the students. This occasion provides a unique opportunity for families to engage with the university community, fostering a deeper understanding of the university’s values, traditions, and programs. Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date are non-refundable. Priority Dates: *Priority Dates: Graduation, Student Check Out (May), Reunion, Student Check In (August), and Colgate Family Weekend require a two-night minimum stay. Opportunities to book rooms for Priority Dates will open approximately 9 months in advance. The weather was cooperative, the campus was beautiful this October 18–20, Colgate's Family Weekend 2024. Students and family joined geography faculty, along with other departments, in the Robert H.N. Ho Science Center’s Cunniff Commons for a short reception and light refreshments. Families Alumni, families, and friends of Colgate Men’s Hockey are invited to enjoy a special weekend with one another and our current student-athletes.
