We're glad you're here! Parents and family members are important partners in supporting student success at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. The Office of New Student and Family Programs (NSFP) provides outreach and services to help strengthen students and families' connection to UWL, including a monthly newsletter, family resources, and an annual family weekend event in the fall Family Weekend Family Weekend October 10-12, 2025 Family Weekend 2025 Family Weekend is when we welcome UWL Families to campus and show off all the amazing things we have going on. We want you to feel comfortable and familiar with the institution your student attends, and Family Weekend is an excellent way to get to know UWL. St. Coletta of Wisconsin would like to welcome you to join us for Family Weekend! The purpose of this weekend is for families to partake in the spirit that embraces the St. Coletta community, to celebrate and enjoy the company of others and to educate and inform stakeholders of current and future trends in client care. Different than any of the Parent and Family Program’s other events, BFSV is much less structured which gives families the freedom to choose which weekends and which events they would like to attend. Family Weekend Flock Together Friday, October 3 - Sunday, October 5, 2025 Each fall, UW-Green Bay welcomes our students' families to campus for a weekend of activities, including performances, athletic events, horse-drawn wagon tours of campus and much more. Events are fun for all ages! Dates: June 19–22, 2025 Why Go: Celebrate Wisconsin Rapids' cranberry heritage with a weekend of family-friendly events, including a carnival, arts and crafts fair, live music, a parade, and delicious cranberry-themed treats. 🦕 Dino Daze – Green Lake Date: June 14 Why Go: Fun and education rolled into one! Family Weekend 2025 will take place Friday, October 24 - Sunday, October 26, and welcomes the whole family to experience life as a Badger. The event features a variety of events both on and off-campus, such as discounted Badger hockey game tickets, Chancellor's Welcome Reception, Cheese Walk along State Street, a spirited Badger Family Fest, open classes Family Fest Looking forward to seeing you at Family Fest 2025! Family Fest at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is a vibrant annual event that brings together students, families, and the community for a weekend of celebration and connection. October 10-12, 2025, offers a perfect chance for families of first-year students to join us for a weekend of events. Events will include opportunities to meet and interact with other Stout families, engage in academic and recreational activities, and simply enjoy connecting with your first-year students after their first weeks at Stout. Family Weekend is $12 per person up to 4 people, and $5 for each additional person after that. Current UW-Madison students are free. This cost includes most events, activities and receptions throughout the weekend.
