Teachers provide activities that are developmentally appropriate, hands-on, engage the senses, and are driven by the child's God-given interest and desire to explore. The church also sponsors Living Waters, a mission in Guatemala to provide clean water to a small village community. Babies and preschool aged children enjoy our cry room off the sanctuary, angel choir, Parents' Day Out and the new Pine Ridge Preschool. If you’re around the church during the week you’re sure to see Elaine running about. Her daily job duties are always different and bring their own surprises, trials, and fires to put out. You typically have to reserve what day you want to come to utilize the care in advance. Most of these programs I’ve found are run by churches. I’m specifically wanting Northland PDO’s (I know of 3) Pine Ridge Presbyterian (Zona), St. Stephen Lutheran Church (Liberty) and Platte Woods United Methodist (Platte Woods). For those who need extended care, the Pine Ridge Parents' Day Out program is available Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We follow the Park Hill School District's birthdate cut-off policy of Aug 1.
