Hello Everyone, My parents are looking to move from Central FL to Green Valley AZ before 2024. I'd really appreciate getting the lowdown on living in Rural and Small Town Living - Relocation, moving, countryside, farms, health, schools Let's play a game of Pros and Cons I have a looong list of great reasons to move to the Lake Keowee/Seneca area, but my list of cons is pretty 49 people in workers' group living quarters and job corps centers 46 people in group homes for juveniles (non-correctional) 23 people in hospitals with patients who have no usual home elsewhere 7 people in maritime/merchant vessels 6 people in residential treatment centers for juveniles (non-correctional) 2 people in in-patient hospice facilities Its a tourist town . Lots of research can be done in line , have the chamber of commerce send you a info bundle and visit when conditions allow . I find Maggie valley I nice place to visit but prefer a more rural town to live in . Stats about all US cities - real estate, relocation info, crime, house prices, schools, races, income, photos, sex offenders, maps, education, weather, home value My wife and I , (retired) will be looking at lots and homes on lake keowee in mid August for a week.
