PDO Purpose/Core Values The purpose of Parent’s Day Out is to provide a ministry and service to the parents of preschool children by giving parents personal time to accomplish goals and tasks that may be more difficult to complete while fulfilling their responsibilities of caring for their children. April 11, 2022 - June 1, 2022 Parent’s Day Out is back for the 2022-2023 school year! PDO at FBC will plan on starting back in the middle of August. Parents' Day Out Child Development Center CDC Purpose/Core Values At First United Methodist Child Development Center (CDC) we Mother’s Day Out Welcome! Children 6 weeks up to school-aged are welcomed to attend our preschool program at Providence Baptist. Mother’s Day Out meets Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs each week from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm. We do follow a kindergarten-readiness curriculum. Tracy Lenz, Parents Day Out Director Tracy assumed the position of PDO director in 2007. Prior to that, Tracy taught the 8th grade in Bradley County and the 5th grade in Whitfield County, GA. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Lee University.
