As the semester winds down, we are excited to share our full event calendar for the 2025-2026 academic year! Buckeye Family Tailgate : Oct. 4, 2025 Legacy Dinner : March 27, 2026 Buckeye Family Family Weekends at OSU are a great time to visit your student on campus and spend some quality time together. OSU hosts two weekends per year in September and April. In the past, these were also called Dad’s Day or Mom’s Day which led to some confusion. We're all in the same Cowboy Family, so let’s make this easy. Family Weekends are for anyone you call family whether they're in the Saturday, March 28, 2026 Buckeye Family Day is a day in which any Ohio State faculty, staff, or student can invite any family member or friend of the family to the campus to experience the excitement of life as a Buckeye! Please check back in January for information about registration. For a sample list of events, please see our 2025 event schedule to have an idea of what to expect in March. Ohio University will welcome family members and friends to campus this week for the annual Family Weekend. The Family Weekend events begin on Friday, Sept. 13, and continue through Sunday, Sept. 15. This year’s activities will include special events on and off campus for people of all ages. The Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities will be administered in compliance with the law as of June 27, 2025. Four times each year, Ohio University welcomes families and friends to reconnect with their college students on the Athens Campus. Family Weekends offer a wide range of activities, from sporting events to outdoor adventures to concerts and performing arts. Parent Weekend at Ohio State This year, Parents Weekend will be held November 3-5, 2017. Friday Off-Campus Living Expo Will your student be a junior or a senior next year? When visiting for parents weekend, there’s lots to see in the 15th largest city—both on and off campus. FOOD, BEER, AND SPIRITS Depending on what year at Ohio State your child is, they may not be able to partake in consuming alcoholic drinks, but you certainly can. Falcon Family Weekend is an annual tradition for parents, family members and supporters to visit, create memories, participate in events as well as explore campus and the local community. This year, there will be a variety of activities and events to look forward to! Sibs, Kids and Family Day 2025 Sibs, Kids and Family Day is a day in which any Ohio State faculty, staff, or student can invite any child, sibling, family member or friend of the family to the campus to experience the excitement of life as a Buckeye! Registration closes on Wednesday, March 26 at noon ET. Join us on October 18, 2025 for our Parent and Family Day in collaboration with CSU Homecoming! Cost: $45 per family of four (CSU student + 3 guests); $15 per additional person. High St. Columbus, OH 43201 The Convocation Center Parking Lots 127/128 and Lot 111 near Stocker Center will close on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 7PM to support weekend athletic events.
