Academic Calendar - Fall 2025 Please Note: All drop/add and refund deadlines shown below pertain to classes in the full 16-week semester. Short courses and other courses with start/end dates that differ from the main 16-week semester have unique drop/add and refund deadlines. Parents Weekend Parents weekend in college is one of the most iconic weekends for parents and students alike. For parents, it’s a chance to see where their kids have left home to go to and what they get into on a daily basis while away at school (even if they don’t show you everything). It’s also a chance to relive some of your favorite memories from college, whether you went to Ohio drop a course with an assigned grade of "W" or "F" by the instructor (requires completed Request to Drop a Course During the W or F Period form) withdraw from all classes with assigned grades of "W" or "F" by instructors (requires completed Withdrawal form) * Spring 2025 deadline extended due to inclement weather. Oklahoma State University - Stillwater events updated every day. powered by Concept3D Event Calendar Software OSU welcomes families to visit their students on campus and in the community at any time throughout the year, but each semester we host a designated Family Weekend to celebrate the Cowboy family and provide special opportunities for immediate, extended and chosen family members to spend some quality time with their students. Important Dates Use the different calendar resources linked below to find the important dates that will keep you "in the know," help you plan family activities to include your student, and provide chances for you to support your student and other students at OSU. Spring Family Weekend April 25-27, 2025 Family Weekend Check-in We encourage you to check-in during your Family Weekend visit to register for the Family Weekend drawing and get your questions answered about activities. Check-in will be located on the first floor of the Student Union, immediately outside the University Store. Family Weekends at OSU are a great time to visit your student on campus and spend some quality time together. OSU hosts two weekends per year in September and April. In the past, these were also called Dad’s Day or Mom’s Day which led to some confusion. We're all in the same Cowboy Family, so let’s make this easy. Family Weekends are for anyone you call family whether they're in the Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs oversees some of Oklahoma State University's oldest traditions; Follies, Varsity Revue, and Spring Sing. These shows allow our students to express their creative and musical talents, make new friends, and fundraise for charitable causes. The Office of Parent and Family Relations advises parents, guardians, and family members of OSU students and responds to questions and concerns regarding students’ developmental issues. The office also administers the Cowboy Parents scholarship, provides programming during New Student Orientation and sponsors two family weekends each year; Dad’s Day in the fall semester and Mom’s Day in Here, you’ll find essential resources like the 2024-2025 OSU Parent & Family Calendar, Academic Calendar, and information on Academic Advising, the Office of the Registrar, and FERPA. Parent & Family Weekend at Oregon State University is a biannual celebration designed to welcome families and friends of OSU students. The event is packed with a variety of activities, including fun events, engaging workshops, lively entertainment, campus tours, educational sessions, and numerous opportunities to connect with the OSU community.
