Ref No-DPSGFBD/CIRCULAR/Pre Nursery/068/2022-23 Date: 6.5.2022 Yellow is the brightest and happiest of all the colours as it represents sunshine and warmth. To introduce our little Dipsites to such a jovial colour, we have planned a week long celebration for our tiny tots of class Pre Nursery. Our young learners will experience a trail of mesmerizing activities during the ‘Yellow Week’ as Activities of the day :- 1: Show and Tell Activity 2: Red Day Craft (Take away Activity) 3. Dance Performance Parents are requested to send any one of the following items :-- a.Toys, b.Fruits c. Vegetables, d. Insects and bugs (made with paper cutouts & which are red in colour). Kindly prepare your child to speak 2-3 lines about the prop which you will send for the “RED Day Celebration”. The objective of this celebration was to introduce the colour yellow to the children and encourage them to explore its various shades and associations . Help your child find several yellow toys and arrange them. Plan a red snack such as yellow juice and toast with mango jam. Give your child a yellow crayon paper to colour it any fruit or other object. Children to wear the yellow clothes or any yellow item of clothing. ‘Yellow Colour Day’ for Pre-primary students on Wednesday, 15th May 2024. YELLOW DAY Yellow day was celebrated on Friday, the 28th of July 2023. The teachers and students from Pre-Primary were dressed in different shades of yellow. The bulletin boards and classrooms had a vibrant display of the colour yellow. A special assembly was conducted to help children understand more about the colour yellow.
